Travel notes
What to know
Malmö is a vibrant city that offers a unique blend of Swedish culture and international flair, making it an exciting destination for a festival trip. In October, the weather is generally cool and crisp, with possible rain, so it's a good idea to pack layers and waterproof gear. The closest airport is Copenhagen Airport, which is just across the border in Denmark, and there are convenient rail connections to the city. Accommodation and food prices in Malmö may be relatively high compared to other parts of Europe, but it's cheaper than other parts of the Nordics and there are plenty of options to suit various budgets. To plan your trip, consider booking your accommodation and flights in advance to secure the best deals, and research local transport options such as buses or bike rentals to get around the city. Additionally, it's a good idea to check the festival registration website for any specific travel recommendations or package deals that may be available.
