Travel notes

What to know

Vitoria-Gasteiz is a charming city that offers a unique blend of culture and entertainment, making it an ideal destination for a festival trip. In June, the weather is usually mild and pleasant, so it's a good idea to pack layers for your trip. To get to Vitoria-Gasteiz, you can fly into Bilbao Airport or take a train to Vitoria-Gasteiz railway station, both of which offer connections to the city center. Accommodation and food prices are generally reasonable, but it's a good idea to book in advance to ensure availability. For dancers, it's a good idea to plan ahead and research local transport options, such as buses or taxis, to get to the Baratza Aretoa venue. Additionally, consider arriving a day early to explore the city and get a feel for the local atmosphere before the festival begins.
